Change of itemname

We have gone through all of our item designations and we have received feedback from a few customers offering possible improvements.
We have chosen to take a holistic approach and do a thorough review, which in principle means that all items have changed their designation.
The changes result in an easier understanding of the use of the product and to what it is intended to be installed.
Some of the major changes are:

Colours

  1. Dark red now has the designation of d-red (m-röd in Swedish)
  2. Brick red is now designated as b-red (t-röd in Swedish, previously röd)
  3. Items with primer no longer have an additional description for colour (previously hot galv.)

Mountings/Products

  1. Waterproofing membrane roof is a concept referring to a board/felt roof
  2. Smooth roof is a concept for asphalt-based sealing surfaces, felt roofs, shingle roofs and concrete
  3. Roof underlay is divided in to simplified roof underlay and load-bearing roof underlay
  4. Sheet metal roofs come in the categories of Profiled sheet metal roofs, Folded sheet metal roofs and Prefabricated panel roofs
  5. Batten brackets remain unchanged in our English documentation, though the Swedish name is changed slightly
  6. The same is true of Anchor loop
  7. Batten step instead of Roof step (applies to roof steps for roofing tiles).
  8. Slipguard façade instead of Slipguard wall
  9. Back guard as opposed to protective cage
  10. Screw kit self-tapping screws instead of extension kit rail tube
  11. Items that supplement another item refer to the designation rather than the item number.
  12. Multi-packs have the designation of -pcs instead of -pack.
  13. Kits without EPDM sealing contain the designation, excl. EPDM
  14. Kits that include EPDM seals have no annex to their designation (previously in certain cases, it read incl. EPDM)

The changes will be visible in all written materials created based on our system, in calculation programs and in updates of other documents, such as installation instructions and product catalogues.
